Class description:
Join Julie from Caveworks Press and Studios as she guides you through an afternoon of finger-painting for grownups! Learn how to use everyday tools and ingredients to create a series of your own beautiful patterned sheets. Get tips on textures and color techniques as you create your own decorative paste papers. This class is just the start of your creative journey because you can use paste paper in other projects such as scrapbooking, one-of-a kind cards or book binding. Get inspiration from some of the artistic examples of Julie’s work on display and additional ideas from live demonstrations. Bring some flats or cardboard to take home your 4 to 6 completed paste papers. Bring $30.00 at the time of the class for materials payable to the instructor. Please register by Oct. 15.
