Caveworks Press & Studios was chosen as one of thirty finalists in the 2016 Iowa DREAM BIG GROW HERE business grant contest. We are more than thrilled to have reached this stage. What comes next? All finalists will do a short Powerpoint presentation to the judges on April 14th at Collins Community Credit Union Convention Center in Des Moines, Iowa. If you feel like cheering us along, send me a message and I will get you added to the RSVP list. We are competing for a $5,000 grant to help us refurbish the Chandler & Price press and put toward our goal of opening a storefront. An overall winner will receive $5,000 more that day.
Needless to say, this is a major boost to our fledgling business. I’ve given one newspaper interview, and we have a radio interview in the morning.
I’m also excited to have a couple new projects in the works.
