Midway through “Throwaway,” an artist’s book

It may not look like much at this point, but these are relief plates using cardstock, glue, string to build up a plate to be printed from.

The woman represents a person who I liken to  a “throwaway” by the way she is treated. Her text page reads:

A mom: 52 years old

with Multiple Sclerosis,

$900/month disability,

still told that pitiful income

is“too much”for public health care.

No insurance, no medicine,

Her daughter is watching her

deteriorate

right in front of her eyes.

This next one concerns a young person who feel as though the future is very very uncertain, even with a degree.

I will write more as this progresses.
