Over in our letterpress printing studio we create an intriguing array of hand-crafted items using old-world printing technology. Hand-set lead type is composed, then printed on a Vandercook proof press by a relief printing process known as Letterpress. Each inked letter (or type matter) is literally pressed into the paper as the cylinder is rolled across the bed of the press.
Fine papers and inks, and quality printing combine with a textural experience to make these unique paper goods a little bit of handcraft-love in a digital world: Fine press poetry titles, broadsides, artist’s books, and custom letterpress.
