That elemental spark of consciousness, born of the first marks made on stone; poetry and art lit from within; is what we seek. We believe image and the written word are twins that were once conjoined, and that bridge is where we make our exploration. Caveworks Press publishes letterpress editions of poetry, occasional artist’s books and broadsides, all printed and bound by hand. We are a conduit for Midwest poets who perform their work with gusto, and collaborate with us in grassroots marketing. We do readings in coffee houses, independent bookstores, art centers, libraries, or anywhere we have an audience open to the passion that is poetry.
